Terms and Conditions for Enrolling a Child in Showcraft

Welcome to Showcraft, a youth club organised by Kickstart Opera CIC and Vertex Visions. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By enrolling your child, you agree to adhere to these terms.

1. Emergency Contact Agreement

- As part of the registration process, you must provide accurate emergency contact details. By doing so, you consent to Kickstart Opera CIC contacting this person in case of a serious concern about your child’s welfare.

- Emergency contacts must be reachable during any session held by Showcraft. They also agree to attend the session venue if requested by a tutor or a Kickstart Opera CIC team member.

2. Behaviour Policy

- Participants are expected to display respectful and positive behaviour at all times. Disruptive or inappropriate conduct may result in a warning or removal from the session, depending on the severity of the behaviour.

- Persistent or serious misconduct may lead to suspension or expulsion from the programme.

3. Safeguarding and Child Protection

- Kickstart Opera CIC is committed to the safety and well-being of all children. Our safeguarding and child protection policies are in place to ensure a secure environment.

- By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our safeguarding and child protection policies, and you agree to comply with them.

4. Attendance and Conduct

- Regular attendance is crucial for your child’s development and for maintaining group cohesion. Please inform us in advance if your child will be absent.

- Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives on time and is picked up promptly at the end of each session.

5. Medical and Dietary Information

- You must provide any relevant medical or dietary information that could affect your child’s participation in the programme.

- This information will be kept confidential and used only as necessary to ensure your child’s well-being.

6. Photography and Media

- Kickstart Opera CIC may take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child to be included, please inform us in writing.

7. Fees and Refunds

- Fees for Showcraft sessions are payable in advance. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Kickstart Opera CIC.

8. Health and Safety

- All participants must adhere to health and safety guidelines set by Kickstart Opera CIC. This includes following instructions provided by staff and reporting any hazards or concerns immediately.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

- Kickstart Opera CIC reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions. Parents or guardians will be notified of any significant changes.
